Compost Bin

     Unlike the recycling and trash bin, the compost bin is for food waste. Any food leftovers or fruit peels can go in this bin. The Compost bin allows us to use our food. Not exactly recycle, but use it in a way that allows it to be helpful and beneficial. These food 'scraps' can come handy in gardening and planting. The food scraps and waste contain a large amount of water and beneficial nutrients which can help with preventing/reducing runoff and erosion, establishing a vegetation and healthy soil which can support a plant. Even though many of us are not aware of the compost bin, it is important that we use it as it is beneficial in several ways other than it is another bin to dispose of something in.
