What should I recycle?

 Everyone can agree that it isn't very clear on what should be recycled. Lot's of people find it hard, and you are not alone on that point. It is hard to understand what to recycle. From other blog posts, you may know that recycling one incorrect item can create a big problem. This video below walks you through what should be recycled and what simple acts you can do to encourage sustainability in our communities.

      Unlike the recycling and trash bin, the compost bin is for food waste. Any food leftovers or fruit peels can go in this bin. The Compost bin allows us to use our food. Not exactly recycle, but use it in a way that allows it to be helpful and beneficial. These food 'scraps' can come handy in gardening and planting. The food scraps and waste contain a large amount of water and beneficial nutrients which can help with preventing/reducing runoff and erosion, establishing a vegetation and healthy soil which can support a plant.
