Ways to save Earth

The Earth is changing as we grow, both in good and bad ways. In this post you will learn about the biggest topics that effect America.

1. Save Water

We all can agree that we use water every single day. Whether we use it to have a bath, to wash our hands, or even just drink it, either way we do use water. Imagine everyone using that water. Only 1% of the water in the world is safe for our use. That means that in a few years we will run out of water. Water is a necessity and we can't afford to have that happen.

To save water, we all can take a few easy actions. You can take shorter baths, use only as much water as you need, and turn off the tap when you are washing your hands or brushing your teeth. We all can do these little things to save water!

2. Save Energy

As the world is changing, we are using more and more electricity everyday. Electricity is used everyday at work, home and school. We use it to learn, to get work done and even just play games on and hangout on. We use so much electricity that the non renewable energy sources that power our electricity will eventually run out in a few years. What will we do when we won't have any electricity? A few easy ways to save electricity are to turn off the light when you need it, use natural light instead of light from the electricity, or use solar power. You can also get a special sink tap and special lights which have sensors and will turn on and off when they detect someone. These ways are great ways to save electricity everyday!

3. Save Landfills with Correct Disposal

Correct Disposal is a big problem in America.

Instead of putting something that belongs in the recycling bin, people put the item in the trash bin, or just litter it. Not many people know what should be recycled correctly. Statistics show that the average person throws away items that could go in the recycling at least 5 times a week. We can recycle- cardboard, paper, plastic bottles, and etc. These items include a lot of the items that we use everyday. Correct Disposal can be corrected, we just need to take a little bit of time out of our day to correctly dispose of our trash.
